Cost accounting

Cost center accounting allows you to find out where and which costs habe been incurred.

When posting, costs can directly be assigned but cost allocation and IBL (Internal Business Activity Allocation) allocation is also available.

You have full flexibility in evaluating the data. Several compaction stages can be shown, eg from the cost center through the profit center to the overall company.

Cost categories and cost centers are freely definable.

Costs can be assigned to general ledger accounts.

Cost allocation for several cost centers can be defined in the program cost categories. This leads to an immediate cost allocation during dialog postings.

The cost category and the cost center can be assigned in dialog posting programs.

Cost allocation to several cost centers is possible.

If the ERP system tacoss.eTRADE is used, an account mapping can be performed. This leads to an automatic connection of the cost accounting with the goods management.

The costs are allocated within the cost accounting using the cost category allocation and the internal business activity allocation (IBL).

Postings can be allocated,

• to which a cost category and no cost center have been assigned if a distribution key is included in the cost category (cost category allocation).
  
• to which a cost category and a cost center have been assigned if a distribution key is contained in the cost center (IBL).
  

The distribution key can result from actual or planned values.
